Project
Around The World in 80 Schools is a research
about the public school teachers of non-western countries. Its goal is to offer
a bottom-up view about today's education through the eyes of their main actores:
the teachers.
What is going on
in the public schools around the non-western countries? What are their teachers
thinking about education? Does schools face similar challenges worldwide? Can
teachers learn effectively from their distant peer's
experience?
Interviews
are complemented by school statistics, history and educational policies
briefs, which are all put together to generate a comprehensive
background.
